The 2013 Syracuse University Commencement Weekend

On Saturday, May 11, 2013, Syracuse University’s schools and colleges will hold celebratory Convocations to individually recognize degree candidates and to present special awards. 


Convocations are typically held on Saturday of Commencement Weekend  and are followed by receptions where guests have the opportunity to mingle with faculty. Tickets are not required.
Commencement for all graduates is held in the Carrier Dome on Sunday at 9:30 a.m., beginning with student and academic processions, followed by keynote speakers and the ceremonial conferring of degrees.  The ceremony concludes by noon.  Diplomas are mailed to students after the certification process.
