WonderWorks is a family-friendly amusement park for the mind. It features more than 100 interactive exhibits that utilize some of the most sophisticated graphic and audio presentation techniques available.

Destiny Location: WonderWorks is located on the entertainment level, the third floor of Destiny USA. The WonderWorks Syracuse location is the only one in the Northeast.

40,000 square feet of edutainment to spark the imagination and challenge the mind.



Upon entering WonderWorks, guests will step into an inversion tunnel and be turned upside-down to experience all of the exhibits right-side up.



Average length of stay: 3 to 4 hours. General admission allows guests to stay and play as long as they like.



Private banquet space is available for meetings, birthday parties, field trips and special events.


Groups: Packages can be created to fit any group size or budget. WonderWorks can accommodate everything from birthday parties and educational programs to reunions and company retreats.

Exhibit Highlights from Destiny WonderWorks: 


Hurricane Shack – Guests experience the effects of hurricane force winds that reach 84 miles per hour (Category 1 hurricane).




Anti-Gravity Chamber – With just the touch of a button, the direction of the flow of water changes. Is it flowing from the floor to the ceiling or from the ceiling to the floor?


Natural Disasters – Footage of some of the world's most famous natural disasters is shown and the disasters are explained in scientific terms.



Wonder Park – How's your fastball? An opportunity for guests to determine how fast they can pitch a ball to a major league baseball player.




Bed of Nails – Visitors lay on a bed of 3,500 sharp nails without feeling the pain from any one nail. 



WonderWall – A three-dimensional impression is created when a visitor presses his/her body into a wall of 40,000 plastic pins.






Giant Piano – Jump from key to key on a huge piano to create a musical tune.



Strike a Pose – Phosphorescent images of guests appear and remain on a special wall. Guests walk away, and their shadow stays behind. 



Mind Ball – Brain waves move a ball across the table in this unique competition.




Shuttle Landers – Experience the first-hand challenge and skill needed to land the Discovery space shuttle.




Fighter Jets – Visitors take the seat behind an F-14 or F-18 fighter jet on a virtual flight.



WonderCoaster – A virtual reality roller coaster that visitors design and then ride.  It moves 360° in every direction.


4-D Extreme Motion Ride – This 12-seat theater takes guests along an amazing adventure that transcends time, space and imagination by combining the 3-D film with special effects and full motion seats.  



Lazer Tag – Visitors compete against opponents inside a black light maze. Additional fee/combo packages available.
